You might think that we´ve gone all environmental on Shelta. We do like and respect the nature that surrounds us, but there´s a deeper thought behind these flicks. The pictures above comes from the Lake District, the largest national park in England known for its lakes and mountains. The latest pack from New Balance pays homage to the surroundings of its UK factory in Flimby with the 576 Lake District Pack. The pack consists of three different pairs of 576´s, with colorways inspired by the district with its stunning surroundings. The materials used on these sneakers are top notch, including premium leathers, canvases and outdoor-inspired materials. Details include an embroidered Union Jack on the heel, a label with the Lake District map on the tongue, cord laces, metal eyelets and suede lining.
The New Balance 576 Lake District Pack will be available at Shelta in spring 2011. We´ll keep you updated with the exact release date. While we´re waiting, we´ll get busy writing poems like the Lake District-native William Wordsworth, ´cause the Shelta crew is down with poetry like a clown Charlie Brown. If you prefer New Balance over writing romantic stuff, take a look at our online store for some serious New Balance-action.
